Parang Rusak

The motif above is what Javanesse called Parang Rusak. Parang Rusak in the old time  was including one of the sacred motif in Batik.Mayhap it is due to the date of the invention, since this is one of the oldest motif in Batik. This type of motif was considered sacred and important because only noble people allowed to wear this motif and also in a special occassion such as the ceremonial events, welcoming the guests, saluting the Senopati* from their winning in a war, and many important events that made this motif as the sacred once.Those noble people were the palace's members, Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono VI and Susuhanan Paku Buwono XII.

This motif itself  was derided from the natural ambiances in Yogya and Surakarta* if you see it closely you can trace the repetition of letter S in this motif from above to the below part. Now lets dwell with the history of this motif.

Nowadays Parang Rusak is being colored in various colors.

Parang in Javanesse language is a stout straight knife used in Indonesia and Malaysia, but in this context Parang is from the word Pereng, that has a meaning as a hill. Perengan is picturing as a declining line from the peak point to the lowest point diagonally. And those S letters are being intertwined repeatedly to represent the harmony and synchronisation. The letter of S is taken from the form of the waves on the sea which in the end is representing the undying spirit.

But nowadays all of us can wear it freely and for any occassion, though in marriage ceremony most of the single youngsters will wear it as their Kain*. This motif has also been applied in more modern ways including experiencing the modifications, stilation or even combining with other motifs like what we can see above is one of my private collection for this motif and it has been changed from the serious motif into the cheerfull ones, like nee lol.

Do remember that this motif is representing happiness, spiritfull, undying effort, and many good meanings. But it could also be used as a hope from a parent toward their kids to continue the glory and succeed of the family.

Dealing With My Feelins

Somehow dealings with my feelings are more difficult than any other things i ever faced.
And the wars are not ended till the fat lady is singing....whoever the lady is, since its definitely not me lol.

We Are Different Due To A Good Reason

Today once again my Rabb showed me how to see the beauty in disguise though at this moment, believe me, i still cant find the beauty of it *cackling evilly*.
In an open forum like a meeting where we can see each character of the people, we will be able to see the differences between those people including myself. Its like seeing a drama rolls on the stage in front of me. A drama without a script, a director, and those clutters in a production.
Within an open and free stage where all the players and audiences have equal powers in deciding how to lead the story to the end. The meeting is being held formally for the beginning 5-10 minutes. But since its a production, a drama, after sometime the real players will start to show their true scripts, the scripts that all of us human kind have since the day we are born.
No wonder in those time we will be able to see those people start to play their roles. There will be a jester, a trouble maker, a rebellion, a double-faced, and many other characters that even we will not realize their occurrence until we stumble upon them in our path.
Those creepy scripts that will be represented by some characters that all of us might not realize them to be exist, might be something that others cant accept, but those scripts or characters are needed to equalize this lovely world.
Come back to my little drama, i see how a character tries belittling others even before there is something to be belittled about. While other character tries to stay ignorance till the drama is closed. In the corner there is a character that its job is to oppose all things. In the other corner a character is dividing people's attentions. The characters in my drama are so colorful but believe me, live is never so dull with those characters.
Those characters give edgy feeling in my life. Just like having a cold ice tea. I bet it will be better taste if you put some dollops of lime on it. Just to give a tangy taste. Those are the jobs of my colorful characters, give a bitter and tangy taste in my life. They really are different due to a good reason.
